Oklahoma City Thunder vs Minnesota Timberwolves (6:30pm)

I’m predicting a huge blowout victory for the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight! Similar to their last encounter with Minnesota, scoring is likely to be limited, and this matchup has the intensity of a playoff game. In fact, six of their last eight meetings have gone under the total, and I expect this game to continue that trend.

The Thunder are on a roll and will be looking for revenge after their loss to Minnesota just before the All-Star Break. With a stellar 45-10 record, they sit comfortably atop the standings, holding an 8.5-game lead over the second-place Grizzlies. They've won eight of their last nine games by 10 or more points and are up against a depleted Timberwolves team.

Minnesota will be missing key players, including Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle. They’re averaging 111.6 points per game, which ranks 20th in the league, making it tough to compete with the Thunder if they rely solely on offense. The Timberwolves will need to ramp up their defensive efforts if they hope to have a chance tonight. Fortunately, they boast the league’s best defense, allowing just 108.3 points per game this season.

I project this game to total between 221-224 points, giving us a solid opportunity to bet the Under.
